You are referring to James Comley re being photographed passed out at a party after making couple of sub 1st team appearances. He plays for Maidenhead in National League and International football for Montserrat.

Scary thing is that he would get goals in our current side.

13/12/18: (sorry for not reporting recently but there has been little to shout about, with the possible exception of James Daly)

Jaroslaw Jach - Çaykur Rizespor (Turkey Super Lig - their top League)
Sivasspor 1:1 C.Rizespor - unused sub
Rizespor 1:1 Ankaragucu - unused sub
Rizespor 0:2 Balikesirspor - played whole match
Galatasaray 2:2 Rizespor - not in match day squad

Ryan Inniss - Dundee Scottish premiership
Hibs 2:2 Dundee - unused sub
Dundee 4:0 Hamilton Accs - unused sub
Dundee 1:1 Rangers - unused sub

Jason Lokilo - Lorient (France) Ligue 2
Troyes 2:0 Lorient - not in match day squad
Lorient 2:2 Lens - " " " "
Auxerre 0:0 Lorient - unused sub

Levi Lumeka - Leyton Orient - National League.
Wrexham 0:2 Orient
Orient 0:0 Aldershot
Orient 2:0 Gateshead
Haringey 1:2 Orient
Borehamwood 1:0 Orient
Lumeka did not feature once - see Woosie's comment above

James Daly & Tyler Brown - Kingstonian Bostick League.
Wingate & Finchley 0:4 Kings - both Daly & Brown played all 90 mins. Daly scored
Enfield 0:1 Kings - both Daly & Brown played all 90 mins. Daly scored.
"This 1-0 win at fellow promotion contenders Enfield Town was settled in the 58th minute when Crystal Palace loanee James Daly weaved his way in and out of three defenders’ challenges, slaloming across the box with preternatural balance before calmly slotting the ball under keeper Joe Wright. It was a Premier League goal in the Bostik Prem."
Kings 0:4 Haringey - both Daly & Brown played all 90 mins
Hornchurch 2:2 Kings - both Daly & Brown played all 90 mins. Daly scored.
"Chafer failed to hold a stinging Buchanan drive, and who else but James Daly was there to smash home an equaliser they couldn’t have imagined they’d need ten minutes earlier."

He was at youth level but hasnt he always played wide as a wide forward or as a winger. The odd game at AM for Liverpool and then back out wide for Chelsea at wing or wing back. Can't ever remember him playing as a striker (certainly not consistently) for a first team.

Grabban might be an example of one that has done well at Championship level albeit not for us. Can't think of many more unless you go a long long way back.

Jaroslaw Jach - Çaykur Rizespor (Turkey Super Lig - their top League)
Rizespor 1:1 Alanyaspor - unplayed sub
Balikesirspor 1:1 Rizespor (Cup game) played 81 mins
Tranzonspor 4:1 Rizespor - not in match day squad
Jach seems to have fallen out of first team contention

Ryan Inniss - Dundee Scottish premiership
Kilmarnock 3:1 Dundee - unused sub
Aberdeen 5:1 Dundee - unused sub
Celtic 3:0 Dundee - played all 90 mins, in front of a 57,000 crowd, which will do him good
Out of favour / injured? recently but hopefully the Celtic game will invigorate him

Jason Lokilo - Lorient (France) Ligue 2
Lorient 1:1 Niort - subbed on in 83rd min
Monaco 1:0 Lorient - (Cup game) Started! subbed off on 69 mins.
Sochaux 1:0 Lorient - subbed on in 81st min
Lokilo started off the season nowhere near the team but over the last few weeks he has appeared on the bench and even begun to get a few minutes at the end of games which is a great credit to him.

Levi Lumeka - Leyton Orient - National League.
Orient 4:0 Beaconsfield - not in match day squad
Orient 3:1 Chesterfield - not in match day squad
Seems tragic to me when a player's (alleged) attitude lets them down. Orient are still top of the League so it was always going to be difficult to break into a winning team but that is when the self discipline & willingness to work are needed most. The exact opposite of Lokilo above who (I am guessing) has worked hard and played himself onto the bench and now is getting sub appearances.

James Daly & Tyler Brown - Kingstonian Bostick League.
Kingstonian 4:1 Bognor Regis - Tyler Brown missing so I am speculating he was injured after being a regular starter. James Daly played all 90 mins and again scored.
"Sean Clohessy found James Daly on the right and then rather than crossing, the youngster cut inside and curled the ball around goalkeeper Dan Lincoln from the corner of the penalty box, a goal almost as good as his recent effort at Enfield."

Corinthian Casuals 1:2 Kingstonian - Daly played 90 mins & scored, Brown was an unused sub.
"K’s were impressive throughout and took the lead when James Daly connected with a low cross which the Casuals defence should not have allowed to reach the backpost......
After the break, Daly had a fine strike disallowed for offside...."

It is noticeable that Daly was often a sub, or started and was subbed off, earlier in the season but he is now regularly playing all 90 mins. Of course his recent rich vein of goals (5 in 6) is a big part of that but clearly he has adapted well to this league.

Big fan of Lokilo... read that he picked up an injury at the start of the season that set him back.

Oh dear Jach.

He certainly is a "development" signing, sure hope Doug Freedman and Slimeball Moody have a few decades because Jach might need a very long time to "develop" into whatever we bought him for.

Still, made up the numbers in training, along with Rakip and Sorloth.

Fact is you never know with younger players. He is 24 and probably will be at his prime in 3-4 years if we are lucky. Chelsea let Kevin De Bryune go at 22 as they didn't rate him. Equally, he could totally fade away and spend the rest of his career at a III Liga team in Poland.

For those who follow these thes things I attach this link from Kingstonians website which shows how young James Daly is getting on. For mine hes improving as the season goes along. He has 8 goals now and is getting better as the season goes along. As he is probably not playing where hes used to I think it a decent return and with Ks going well he could posibly double that and even push for 20 before the seasons out.

For mine he is starting to look like he has a chance as a pro but at what level Im not sure. Ks alo have Ty Brown getting a regular game and Alfie Doughty a talented winger from Charlton, who may just be the frst to get a pro start.

1/1/19 - very little to report

Jaroslaw Jach - Çaykur Rizespor (Turkey Super Lig - their top League)
no games for 3 more weeks

Ryan Inniss - Dundee Scottish premiership
Dundee 0:0 Livingston - an unused sub
Dundee 0:2 St. Johnstone - an unused sub
Now a 3 week break

Jason Lokilo - Lorient (France) Ligue 2
No games - Winter break?

Levi Lumeka - Leyton Orient - National League.
Dag & Redbridge 2:1 Orient & Dover 0:0 Orient
Still not featuring

James Daly & Tyler Brown - Kingstonian Bostick League.
Merstham 0:0 Kingstonian - James Daly subbed off on 49 mins. Brown an unplayed sub. Interestingly (ex Academy) Gus Sow was playing for Merstham

Lumeke has been playing for the Palace U23s still, can we assume his loan has been cut short?

No, they’re allowed to come back and play for U23s at the same time. Not literally the same time obviously
