Right that's it. If we don't have a new manager in place by 9pm this evening. I am going to a Swiss clinic.

Please specify EXACTLY what Steve Parish has done wrong from your personal, first hand knowledge. No guesswork, rumours assumptions or press reports, then we can all appreciate how he has got it wrong. It will be a great help as most of us don't have your knowledge.

That an average manager in MM wants to bring his own people in (like who?) and SP wants to keep the people that keep us stable behind the scenes!

Does anyone else get the feeling that some of the 'usual suspects' on the BBS would have been disappointed had Pulis remained as manager? This latest bit of drama gives these sad ***** a further excuse to have a go at the Board (and SP in particular). It was the same last year. The predictable bile and venom following the departure of Freedman and then Holloway. Of course they mostly went quiet as we first achieved promotion and then climbed the table after Christmas - but this is a new season and another manager departing, so here they are again. CPFC2010's record to date has been practically perfect. Despite all the setbacks, each time SP has made the right call, the Club has advanced, and I have no doubt he will do so again. I have no idea why people like you are so keep to have a pop at SP at every possible opportunity. In view of where the Club is today, just a few short years after near extinction, are you not even slightly embarrassed by your ridiculous sniping? |

Windsor Eagle is spot on with his views
Ignoring the fact that Parish and 3 others came to our rescue in 2010 when no one else was interested in stepping up to the plate, Palace have made huge progress and achieved a hell of lot in the 4 years since. If Parish is judged on how Palace have performed in his time as chairman I think everyone would agree he's done a fantastic job so why are so many are judging him based on comments and propaganda coming from 'outsiders' with their own agenda. The current circumstances are frustrating to all but supporters need to get a grip and realise that Parish is doing more than anyone to progress our club and he deserves our support. |

Ffs trust sp , he wants the best for our club , the right appointment , cpfc is his baby he wants it in the right hands , everyone is making assumptions , the truth is we don't really know why pulis left or why talks with mm broke down , but we do know sp wants the best for this club long term

I think you are crazy if you actually think that. Their record is up and down but this is no different to any other club and any other company. What is true though is that we are far stronger now than last year and the year before that and the year before that so they have easily earned the trust.

Firstly, if MM is average, which I actually think he is as well, why is Parish bringing him in in the first place? Secondly, we need a good manager with good people assisting him, people he has every right to choose. Insisting he works with Milllen or whoever, simply because we may need a reliable back up if the manager falls out with Parish and leaves is ridiculous.

Yeah, and whilst an immediate appointment of a top candidate would be ideal, you only have to look at these boards to see that our collective wisdom is split amongst the candidates that there are. So presumably getting in the best candidate within our parameters who is dedicated to the role is more important than getting in a chap just to be in place by the West Ham game. I am aware that the window is a pressing concern but I don't doubt our ability to do late deals and we are only a few signings away for a solid first XI and decent bench. No drastic overhaul needed.

Well I trust their honesty and integrity. I imagine that they'd stay quiet if they were in disagreement about things rather than offering a false endorsement.
