Good pod as always guys - keep 'em coming.
I'd love for 2 a week like the HOL one, but I suppose it has to work with your schedules |

Yeah I do exactly and rather embarrassed by some of the Duff information I have been fed, I was passing it on and I have now learnt that I need to be more responsible, there was an element of truth in everything it just didn't come off, I knew about Dougie but dressed it as being a good idea some time before plus a few other bits. Kevin Day needs to show a little Humility as we all make mistakes including the Doog, but KD was over the top.

Yeah, Kevin Day was a tad over the top at the beginning. Was so close to forwarding to the Liverpool stuff because of the level of vitriol. I'm certainly not Freedmans biggest fan after everything he did, but Kev went a little overboard IMO.

Question for pod 223(?), whichever the next one is. Would the panel like to join the sweepstake of when De Boer leaves and Freedman/Little Sam replace him as caretaker/manager?
Eight entries so far, no-one expects him to last until 2018, in fact no-one sees him being in charge for the Br*ghton match! My personal hunch is 13th November 2017.

Good day.
Can I request the first question for next pod please? If Parish had made a significant financial investment into say, an American ice hockey team but had no direct involvement in strategy - how would he react to those in charge after watching that team evolve eighteen months after his initial finanancial injection? |

The pod is usually in tune with the pulse of the fans but felt it was much more upbeat than the general mood.
We've now failed to score in 7 of the last 8 league games during which our record is won 1 lost 7. |

James McArthur reminds me of Phil "Mr 110%" Barber, which Palace players remind the pod panel of players from yesteryear?

Is Parish manoeuvring de Boer out the way in the same manner Pardew was given time; to only find his replacement rather than be a club without a manager for a prolonged period especially during the transfer window? Is this now the reason we are signing Sakho who wasnt previously wanted by de Boer, that now Parish is forcing the playing style and signings to keep consistency from last season and its up to de Boer to make it work or he will be sacked?
Long question, take any bit you can! M.F.Bias Last edited by Wayne Andrews is God; 29-08-2017 at 12:26 PM. |

There's been a lot of talk about how de Boer's style is contrary to Palace's DNA. However, the manager who started Palace's rise up the Leagues in the early 60s, Arthur Rowe, and whose football first attracted huge crowds to Selhurst Park, was one of the great progressive thinkers of the game and a precursor of the "Ajax style". The Allison / Venables side was the greatest ground filler after that.
Should Palace fans and management learn some history and relent on this painful yearning for the team to be a modern Wimbledon "Crazy Gang". Love the beautiful game, it's the Palace way. More on Rowe here: To view the link you have to Register or Login

unless we buy 4-5 quality new players in three days without selling any of our better existing players then I would guess that FDB has a less than 5% chance of 'turning it round' no matter how long he is given.
What do you think is the probability of FBD turning it round? |
