If we go down at least when we sell Benteke it looks as though we'll have a good replacement. And who knows, wickham may even play again.

Came across as royally pissed off in his post match interview... Which is a good thing as it shows he was not letting his own performance outweigh the result.

Half decent showing, did more than Benteke has for most of season.
Should start next match up front, give him a better chance to show his qualities. |

I know you can't tell much by it, but he looked handy on MOTD, reminded me of Wickham.

Looked decent, pity as we were aware we needed him that we waited until the last minute to sign him.

disappointed with him on Everton's third goal but seemed bright going forward

i think he won all or nearly every header. it was his header that led to Bentekes shot which was hand balled.

After some very poor first touches he grew into the game a promising start might be next season before we see the best of him.

Agree with this. I think he was also caught out with the pace of the game but he did remarkably well and will learn. I can see him becoming a favourite. Hope so, the only real positive to come out of today.

. Now the club are being blamed for not buying players sooner! It’s all so easy in your world isn’t it?

Also Alan Whittle and possibly Don Rogers.
Back in the day as far as I recall Palace players use to score on their debuts. |

Whilst I agree with you, reading that sentence brings back memories of what was being said about Jordan Mutch circa 3 years ago. <shudders>

Looks like one of our three signings might actually be up to it. Awesome window.

Worries me the the defensive one can’t make the bench ahead of Delaney
