Who are those 39 people (so far) who think we’re going to be relegated!!
Come on, show a bit of optimism. We haven’t even kicked a ball yet but this side is more than capable of finishing above half way.

Very tough to call. With our current limited squad I'd go for 16th, but if we sign 3-4 good players then I think we could finish anywhere between 9th-12th. I'd just love a comfortable mid-table finish where we consistently above the relegation places.

8th. On the assumption that the bad luck we had with injuries lasts season doesn't repeat.

If Meyer hits the ground running. If Benteke rediscovers his goalscoring form of 16/17. If we were to get someone of the calibre of RLC to play left mid. If we were lucky with injuries. If we were lucky in games. If Zaha hit 20 goals. Then we could finish top 7, and potentially higher than actually 7th if other fancied teams are hit with injuries and slip up. I've gone for 5th because I am an optimist, knowing that a mid-table finish is more likely. Just wanted to highlight what is possible with a fit in-form Wilf. Not saying it's going to happen but we have a special player on our books who could take us to such dizzy heights. Europe is the only thing that could keep Wilf beyond the end of this season so I hope we do it. I know it's only pre-season but I feel Zaha has gone up another gear. Everything is going through him, and he is scoring goals. If he replicates that in the EPL and the key players stay fit then 7th is more likely than not.
Realistically though injuries will make a difference to a squad of our size so a solid mid table finish of 12th is more likely.

I can only really answer this once the transfer window closes. Losing Wilf will affect our ability to win games. I'm hoping he stays and with that we could finish in the top ten.

Hold onto wilf plus luck with injuries, top 10. Lose Wilf well even with the reinforcements it'll be looking over your shoulder time again.

Curious that once you discard the top 7 the 3rd least popular answer is the only position we have finished twice in in our 5 year stay (11th)!
