Max Meyer
Haven’t noticed one of these yet. On Instagram he captioned a photo of him training with ‘see you again on Monday.’ Does that mean he’ll be in the squad or am I reading into it too much?

Think it’s just as he’ll be at the game so will see the fans again

Saw him at the training session today. He can't be far off fitness wise. Full contribution and very lively in the high intensity games that finished the session. Outside chance for the bench ?

Maybe as Roy did say in his presser that the new boys were coming on leaps and bounds.

Sounds like he could play at least part of the game, either start and come off or sub on later?

Any idea when he will make an appearance for the team?

He’s going to need weeks and weeks of training.
A full pre season is about 5 weeks. To add to that he hasn’t payed for a long time and the PL is far my physical. Why rush him, we have plenty going for us at the moment. I bet we see a lot more of Kouyate before MM.

On the bench tomorrow and depending on how it's going may well come on

Would expect a run out in the cup game before appearing in league.

Would make sense to me to play him in the U23s game at the training ground at 1pm, then take him to the Liverpool game to watch. He's not going to be anywhere near match fit after one friendly.

Just the sort of player we need tonight, shame if he's not ready to play any part.

Hilarious reaction from a few in Block B when he had his first few touches last night, as if he was the second coming of Maradona and had nutmegged the whole Liverpool team.
Otherwise he looked alright. Low centre of gravity, tricky on the ball, looking forward to seeing more of him. |

He did do a bit of the Johnny Williams style running around in circles.

Is he actually smaller than Williams. Did his mum know he was out last night.

Funny old game to make your debut. Looked like he was well up for it though.

But that Jonny Williams style running around in circles tell me we didn't just get the German Jonny... |

Somewhere between Williams and Hazard . Not sure precisely where between, but hoping he is edging towards the latter more
