He worked so hard to get the ball back when we weren’t in possession.
Quick and accurate passing Looks hungry What’s not to like so far.

I think it is hard to make a judgement on him until he plays a full 90 mins. He made a difference today.

Please to see he can play on the left side of the middle four. Bench beckons for Jeff I'm afraid.

******* snide people are out arnt they if we lose a game or two looking to point the finger. It’s wasnt Meyer, it wasnt Hennessey, it wasnt not replacing Steven Reid or Cabaye... we just lost a hard fought game away from home. We look good, chill out dicks.

I wonder what his English is like. Playing five-a-side (me) on Thursday with a controlling (annoying) midfielder made me realise how important communication is to be an influential midfielder, which Cabaye was. Otherwise he'll just be like Johnny Williams and only have one speed. Also, I don't understand his aversion to dropping back*, which surely would give him more vision and time on the ball. If he wants to be a forward play-maker he'd better have a quick eye and be able to link-up properly.
* I think this is what he fell out with Shalke over, if I'm not mistaken. |

Love his vision! Certainly goes for the defence splitting passes. We have been crying out for a player like him for ages! Everything I hoped Cabaye was going to be, although Cabaye was good enough.
