I agree he has lost the plot and his dithering over subs is as predictable as it is painful. I don't want him out, but I do want us to give him a quality replacement for Steven Reid. We need something fresh alongside his experience.

First time ive seen/heard numerous people in holmesdale shouting abuse at him, to bring subs on.

I certainly don't agree with hoofing him out. We're only 4 games in for gawd's sake but there's something not quite right with him in my opinion.
There's something different about him from the second half of last season. He's not as chirpy and cheery in his press conferences as he was last season. Something different about his demeanour.

If that team starts the next game and he sticks with 442 then what though? It is far too early to be calling for him to go, but we're only better off by one game than we were at the same stage last season.
Against Watford the change should have been made before the game was beyond us at 2 nil - it wasn't and we lost. Lesson learnt? No, we nearly succumbed to the same fate only to be let off when Southampton missed a penalty. And it was still ages before changes were made. When they did come the only player who'd looked capable of crossing comes off, leaving two big men up front. I took the lack of subs last year to be a statement that he wasn't happy with the depth of the squad. Now I know better. He needs to start showing that he can be flexible, I'm getting concerned that he might not be capable of it - and I'm truly gutted to be starting to think that way. Hugely hope he proves me wrong. |

Was 100% certain we’d see at least one of these this evening.

Maybe there is a reason for it. It was pretty obvious to almost everyone that changes needed to be made, as it was against Watford, Liverpool etc

In the last couple of games I've started to have doubts for the first time. Weve been worked out by the other teams and he needs now to prove he has the tactical flexibility.

I’m waiting to see what we look like with Meyer starting matches. He’s meant to be our big signing, and closest thing resembling a Cabaye replacement.

I blame Pardew for forcing Murray out.
