No I don't think any of those games will be easy including wolves at home
It's all relative just only playing one top six club in first 10 matches |

Beat Newcastle and we are a quarter of the way there.

Be damn lucky with the way we have played this season thus far.

7 points from six but it feels like we're behind the game.

I reckon we are two below par for the opening fixtures

Definitely below where we should be when you consider the fixtures we've had. Things could certainly be worse but results so far suggest we'll be in a scrap again.

4 points from a possible 12 from Southampton, Watford, Huddersfield and Newcastle makes you right. The one that hurts most is the Southampton one - they are dogshit.

Agree. Nearly a third of the team are new to each other so a few more games will see them click.
I suppose we shouldn't compare anything to last season's start because it really has no bearing on anything at all. |

Cardiff and Huddersfield are nailed on to be relegated (imho obviously) and i'm sure there's at least one other team that we are better than

Was saying that to my lad earlier, Huddersfield and Cardiff look nailed on already (having said that so did we after 7 games and zip points last season!)

Southampton have looked utterly wretched - though still collected an easy 3 points at Selhurst of course....

The Ward header against Watford, Benteke from one yard against Southampton and Sakho miss today. Are there any other teams missing as many critical chances as us?

We have seven points chaps. Could be much, much worse. Today's performance, whilst annoying that we didn't get the result suggests better times are ahead.

Poor start to the season and we look a worse team than the one that finished last season so well. We really needed to invest in the team this summer but we didn't and this is the obvious outcome. We're a limited team but I think we've got enough to just about stay up.
