First game of the season at home to Luton after we nicked Boyce off them? That was poor.

It was lack of fight which eclipses all other scores. Toothless !

It was a nice sunny day at least, unlike today.

1-6 at home to Liverpool still smarts, as it was 0-5 at half time and were pretty optimistic after promotion.

Was the Crewe game where we sang for fog in the hope of the game being abandoned? At least we could laugh at pathetic performances back then.

I honestly think this is the worst. Sakho's backwards header set the tone and they just wanted it more than us. Yes, the pen was bullshit, but we were weak mentally all game. To go in 3 behind at half time is abysmal against ten men.
2nd half, the sub should have been made at half time. Kouyate has his uses, but defence splitting passes is not one of them. We crossed from shit positions, shot from ridiculous ones and forced passes that were not on. It was slow and unintelligent football and a dark day considering how positive Saturday was. |

I've seen worse but this one hurts as much as any. At one down we leave a guy unmarked when they only have nine on the pitch. Shocking.

3-0 away at West Ham in 2003 was painful. They absolutely ripped the piss out of us.

No, that was a comedy game not a nightmare. The fun started when they scored a goal when, I think it was Mullins, lost sight of the ball in a mass of white balloons. Then the pie eater was generously provided with a pie from the crowd after he kindly let the ball go sail him into the net.

I think what has really done me in is that it's only 3 days after a dominant home performance which I have been waiting for for months. I can't even bask in it for a fuxking week without being brought straight back down to earth.
The rest of the week will be shit now. |

It's much worse when you play well and get beaten. I remember around 7-8 years ago watching Leicester v Palace and we played them off the park in a 2-0 loss (may have been 3-1).

******* hell, it was not as bad as people are making out in the slightest. I've got a back catalogue of games that were worse than that.

Working tonight so couldn’t make the game. Sounds like I missed a corker.
1st half against Notts Forest in 2000 was the worse 45mins I’ve ever seen. (Sunderland home a very close 2nd)
