Imagine if hodgson hadn’t devised the system with Townsend and wilf up front all be it doesn’t always work but it has done well on occasions too. We would be have been truly stuffed - we didn’t get the striker we needed he hasn’t been given the support needed . Changing manager won’t change the fact we are missing a goal scorer .

Zaha and Tomkins let him down today with two petulant bookings when they knew that would mean they miss Leicester.

I don’t think this is the only option and Roy’s persistence with it is a problem. |

Surely he will sack him, he sacked those before him who were on bad runs. Namely Pardew, Ian Holloway (officially mutual decision, but technically the same thing), Warnock and De Boer.
We have been lucky there are worse teams in the league at the moment, our league position flatters us. If not for our position he'd have been sacked long ago. |

are you lot serious?
modern football supporters are pathetic...most clubs support are so fickle now. i understand it..after losing to the benders and now WHU..but it was different after beating and playing well against Burnley. Crystal Palace will be nowhere near relegation this season...and results will soon turn..youll see. |

Incorrect .... The Yanks pulled the plug on Pardew not Parish, he was quoted afterwards as saying he would have given Pardew more time.

Richard Shaw likely to be in temporary charge for City game (no new mgr wants City away for his first game).

Blimey. How on earth are we not in the relegation zone.

Personally think that he needs to go now.
At least going now gives a potential new manager a bit more of a chance to assess the squad before the transfer window opens. |

Wouldn’t mind Slavisa Jokanovic - plus cheapskate Parish would be happy with no compensation to pay

He should act now IMO, but will get the next three games, and be on his way after we lose to Cardiff

I hate this modern day mentality of sacking the manager after a couple of bad results. Who is going to come in and steady the ship? Is it Roy & Ray's fault?

It looked likely to me. But Roy isn’t on anywhere near as bad a streak as Pardew was st that point.
