Having seen the format for the play-offs, it really does favour the teams finishing 2nd & 3rd doesn’t it?
It’s probably fair, but the other teams really will have to do it the hard way to have a chance of promotion.
I only see one or two games a season but seriously thinking of going to Bromley’s final home game of the season tomorrow night.

Barrow tomorrow evening, final home game of the season and before Wembley. Due to the FA Trophy and the Spennymoor replay this is the third date chosen. It was originally scheduled at the end of February.

Two wins would guarantee a play off place. Four points could be enough but other favours would probably be needed.

Barrow need the points for different reasons. They are level on points with Woking but with a much better goal difference. If Barrow win they are almost certainly safe but if they don't then they could go down on Saturday.

It looks like no segregation is in place around the ground.

That could be dodgy, I’ve had experience of barrow fans unsegregated at Maidstone last season and they’ve got a few thugs who were up for a bit of murder and mayhem. With this being an important game for them as well, they might not be a happy bunch if they’re getting beat.

Well it wasn’t to be was it? 0-0.
Only my second Bromley game this season, but despite the result, I enjoyed it. They certainly had their chances in the second half but it wasn’t to be. Not helped by a dodgy referee. Only a win in their last game and other results going their way, will see them get into the playoffs. I wonder how much they really want it though. It would mean winning two difficult away games just to get to the final. A hard task anyway.

Probably best they just concentrate on their FA Trophy Final at Wembley next month. They’ve got some good players at this level. You’d think they’ve got a pretty good chance of picking up the trophy although I’m sure Brackley will give them a run for their money.

They did everything expect score. Had chances but could not put one away.

I will write a more detailed version involving the league as a whole later this week on the relevant match updates thread but for now I'll just focus on Bromley. On Saturday Bromley must win and either Fylde (away to Wrexham) or Ebbsfleet (away to Torquay) lose or Boreham Wood (home to Guiseley) fail to win.

I agree with jhc that it probably best to focus on the FA Trophy as it would be unlikely to win the play offs. Brackley will be in the National League North play offs and I think start in the semi final.
