Right but even if the producer is non EU, the supplier or transit point could be EU, Yes? After all, 37m pharma packages flow from EU to UK every month. That cannot be solely EU27 manufacture, can it?

For most of them though they won't be leaving what they really want to leave.

I get the impression what they'd really like to do is leave Britain.

Oh no. Just wishful thinking ...

No it isn't, thank you. I didn't like the first referendum.

Referendums are more akin to mob rule than to democracy.

We are fast approaching the stage where the remoaners will lose their arse*ole , agree to any crap deal Berlin offers to avoid a no deal and panic buy all the food in the shops .
At least we brexiteers can hold our heads high and say we tried and blame the shite deal on the remoaners who have undermined the talks from day one .

I respect that , Agree the EU referendum was a mistake but Merkel could have avoided it by agreeing to more concessions with Cameron , Maybe the EU became too power crazy and confident after the creditcrunch allowed the ECB and Merkel to dictate to Greece , Spain , Portugal etc .
Originally I intended to vote remain but after Cameron came back empty handed even when there was a threat the UK could vote Leave , Merkel gave nothing and humiliated the country .

Er, David Davis was in charge of the talks from day one.

(And what a great job he did.)

We already had a second referendum in 2016, following the first in 1975.

Is it your view that referendums should be respected, or not? Because we also had a referendum on the GFA which some Brexiters seem to think should just be ignored.

Apparently the will of the people only matters when the people agree with you.

This keeps getting trucked out, cribbed from the usual Tory rich boy sources, & it is nonsense:

1. None of that was in Merkel's power, which was why it all had to be agreed with the full Council, that is the EU's primary legislature.

2. Cameron went ahead with the Ref on the basis that a) he believed what he had secured was enough and b) that the offer would be withdrawn if Leave won (so he used it all as a Remain bribe).

3. We already had a unique Membership deal that no single other Member had (though some like Denmark had some of it).

4. What Cameron secured does include what key leavers said we should have (so I must assume they didn't read the offer) -

* an opt out from “ever closer union” which was set out in the Treaty of Rome, and that exclusion was going to specifically written into the EU treaties.

* a proposal that if 55% of EU Members agreed they could block a legislative proposal from the Commission.

* a change to in work benefits preventing citizens from the EU claiming non- contributory in work benefits for 4 years.

* changes to child benefit payments being exported to other Member States. Payments were to be indexed linked to where the child resides.

* recognition that non-Euro countries would not have to fund eurozone bailouts and they would be reimbursed from central EU funds that support the Euro.

* a commitment to competitiveness (reducing red tape).
