Kai Kai is nowhere near, Marriott has more this season alone than kaikai has all together

Good chance to judge him today agaist premier league defenders v Leicester live on bt sport not had much chance to show his talents so far Leicester been clinical even without a lot if there normal team.

Marriott is getting a harsh lesson about the Premier League standard as Maguire is bossing him in their Cup match. To be fair whole team is under the cosh and so he is feeding off scraps but Maguire is seeing everything much earlier than Marriott and stepping through him.

Annoyingly Diabate at £2m is already looking an interesting buy for Leicester. (Note this is reported as £2m and also as £4.4m. So not sure which is accurate. Tends to be the lower one.)

What I hadn't fully realised was how this year's goals are really the first sign from Marriott having only scored 1 in 5 at Luton the League 2 the previous season. He is only 23 and so that doesn't rule him out but it would be quite a gamble from what I have seen. It's HT and I would pass on him based on what I have seen in 45 mins, but hopefully our Scouts will take a little longer to assess.

In fairness to him he was isolated on his own with midfield along way from him .scouts can keep watching him agaist lesser teams but from posh owner point of veiw he will want him to show something agaist prem defenders to sell him for big money .

Agree on all points. Little brighter this half but not enough to excite a Premier Club yet. Maybe a Championship club looking for a 3rd or 4th choice with potential if an upside. What has been interesting is the reminder of the chasm between these 2 divisions.

Edit - rather than post again. Diabate has scored his second, got an assist and taken MOM. Marriott definitely tried to get into this game and has harried but is a country mile behind Diabate who will probably be lucky to get gametime at Leicester. Iheanacho will be looking over his shoulder though.

Yep, at the rate of '1 goal in every 5' appearances in League 2.

Haven't heard anything about this but think he'd be a reasonable punt. Runs his arse off and scores goals.

Journo is the Tweeter, reasonably well followed, again, good third choice striker. Would make the two being talked to him and Amadou, with Gueta for the summer.
