Quality deal and a good way to get some of the deadwood out of the squad.
If they reject it perhaps we could add some more players to the deal. |

This rumour keeps coming up, hopefully its true. Would be a great signing. Hopefully we get Mcleod as well because I think they would make a good partnership. Throwing Black and Macken into the deal is even better get the, off the wage bill. Them two would cover Nugent's wages with some to spare.

Maybe they would feel the deal is more attractive if they're not lumbered with Macken & Black. |

As I understand it when Tommy Black went to the Pikies on loan last season they were paying him 2k a week while we made up the rest by paying a further 6k a week.
No one in their right mind is going to pay Tommy Black 8K a week (apart from us) so I reckon we're stuck with him until his contract expires.

People are seriously deluded if they think we are gonna sign Nugent. They wouldn't accept for anything less than 5m cash regardless of whether we give them our useless cast-offs.

According to a couple of different rags this morning we are after Carl Cort and Michael Bridges as well! So along with Nugent and McLeod we should have quite an attacking side next season!!

i said cort has been underrated (that could mean that i think people think he is worse than he actually is and that he is average).
Fitz Hall is quality, when he leaves you will see what a good player we had. When motivated he is one of the best players we have (but again i didnt say 3M wasnt a fair/very good price, just that i wouldnt sell him) |

Was only joking mate but when youv'e seen cannon, gilbert, thorn, young, coleman, shaw then you know a good defender and hall is no where near their class, too soft imo. Ok defender but that's it. Actually agree with cort but the lads injury prone so a no go hopefully. |
