Don't think he would come here

I'd agree with you. Lost count of the number of times he's bailed Arsenal out. Hasn't he equaled Solskjaer's record of goals from the bench, or at least is about to?

Equalled it at the weekend. Got a start and didn't score last night.

Better to get batshuaiy than someone at the end of their career

Compared to the others mentioned (Babacar and Afobe) this guy is the business. Likes playing at Selhurst Park!

It's the same old story. BBS's wanting this player or that player without any consideration of how we're going to provide them with the service they need to be at their consistent best. FFS, It's a team game. Always has been, always will be.

True, but regardless of service, we need more than 1 fit centre forward.

Partially right, but it doesn't matter how many CF's we have, if the opportunities don't come their way, then they will be as useful as Benteke has been this season. IMO, we need another AJ type CF who just causes panic to the opposition defense and not another target man who the rest of the side cannot find with crosses, and even when they do, there's nobody working off of him. Most of all, we need a player who will do a great job but won't break the bank or demand massive wages. Time to step back before we go marching on aimlessly again.

Yep. I still don’t get why so many Arsenal fans don’t seem to like him, other than they’re a bit dim.

I think it's because he is not a flair player like Sanchez or Ozil. At the end of the day though, he is a finisher.

How did our goals come the other day? A rebounded shot and a cut back. Sako and McArthur managed to get themselves in good positions to get a chance, but Benteke just doesn’t do it enough. He has been shit this season. Let’s stop pretending that it’s everyone else’s fault. |

He used to be a very streaky player, goal machine for 10 games but then a donkey for ten. I say ‘used to’ as he doesn’t start very often now so it’s difficult to judge.

I've got a mate who has an almost unhealthy love of Giroud, if we're in the pub watching Arsenal and he does something even if it's just coming off the bench he just keeps saying his in a French accent.I'm pretty sure when he's in bed with his Mrs it not her he's thinking of.

He should be getting much more. The idea that Zaha and Townsend don’t provide good service is laughable.
