What does he lack? Looks like he has strong wrists, good positioning and great reflexes. He's also 6'4, you'd expect him to be solid at claiming crosses etc.

Looks a great shot stopper

I echo sentiment about holding onto the ball a few times but goal keepimg coaching seems to be very much, punch and parry now. Stop the shot as even the best keepers in the world seem to do that rather than catch all but the simplest. Perhaps they’ve decided that you concede less from doing that than you do from fumbles and drops trying to catch it?

Any idea on he is claiming crosses etc? I think shot stopping he’s good enough by the looks and sound of it.. if you can add claiming crosses and reasonable distribution he’ll be a good signing.

We seem to do alright when we get players other sides have as supporters favourites.. less so when they come considered technically awesome!

Solid at claiming crosses would make a nice change.

I thought he was good when he was first at Saints, not sure what happened after though. Did he lose his place to Forster when he was good?

Work with a few Tractor boys who rate him very highly and are dreading the prospect of someone coming in for him.

Remember him being a complete liability in his early Southampton years, but that was absolutely ages ago now so it's unfair to judge him on that.

Certainly think we should be looking elsewhere for a long term #1 though.

Did we buy Nige from an established European or 1st division side (old money)? Or was it Bristol Rovers...?

I agree. That Scowcroft hat-trick is ten years old. Bialkowski would have been 19 or 20 years old. Keepers are very raw around that age, I remember De Gea having a lot of question marks raised around him when he first came here and look at him now.

Yep. I doubt the Swans heirachy are ready to throw the towel in at this point but wish we could nick him in the transfer window. Superb save from Andros on Saturday - don't think either of our keepers would have stopped that.

Can't see anything not to like. He's agile (especially for a 6'4" lad), brave and gets the job done. Just hope the price is reasonable, or maybe they'd like the Hen in PX.

Except if you watch WH's 2017 shot stopping video he looks like a world beater......

I wish people would put up the ones goal keepers let in that would be more useful.
