You don't know this either.

I'd be very surprised if we went back to him after the debacle of deadline day and the dive, but he is exactly the type of striker we crave. We need someone who's full of running and can get behind defences and open some space for the likes of Wilf and RLC

Do you not think that comments on a transfer rumour are made with the implicit proviso that of course there may not be any truth in it? Is it really necessary to state before every comment that "I know this might not be true but incase it is..." Who has time to provide a list of disclaimers in each comment just so that you don't get offended? |

I mentioned earlier on the thread, during the recent Parish interview on the Sky Debate show, I noticed he was particularly sympathetic towards Niasse when talking about his dive against us. I wouldn't rule this out just yet.

He reminds me so much of a McArthur type player of all heart, full of energy and commitment which is no bad thing for a forward, but lacks finesse and is very much a hit and miss striker. My concern would be is he able to work alongside Benteke which i feel we need, or will he be seen as his replacement which would be a backward move, but if he can be bought for no more than 10m that then would make him a very good squad addition. But would that tempt him to sign? Personally i would like to see Andre Gray instead for say around 15m, as he would be able to play a dual role of either alongside CB or as a lone striker in a more mobile formation if Roy so wishes. |

I can't see this happening with the Agent shenanigans last time.

That would be good. He’s been shite this year but was great at Burnley. |

I would have liked to have hoped we could sign a better quality striker.
However, he’s certainly an upgrade on Frazier who’s place he is taking.

Give JMac what he wants and get in Niasse.
Sign up RLC and get a CB and I'll almost be satisfied

He’s such a Palace player. Runs around like a headless chicken wanting to do well. What’s not to like?

Would rather have Sakho from West Ham

Me too, problem is he's got a dodgy back that seems to regularly keep him out for long periods.

Because he has proven to be a good player and after the Americans got involved with hiring De Boer I think it's fair to say that they will be taking more of a back seat now. Plus it's very common for footballers to get arthirites in their knee.

I'd take him as a third choice striker behind Benteke and another new striker. We ideally need four strikers in the squad given we are playing 4-4-2 these days anyway. Wickham being the fourth striker if get gets fit.

The dive won't affect it. Remember Benteke?

Can’t see Everton letting him go. Even with Tosun they need cover
