Luka, Cabaye, McArthur, Reidewald - we probably have enough cover in the CM.

He’s alright, I’d take him. Would rather a keeper or a striker though.

Cabaye most likely off in the summer. McArthur could be going to Rangers. And wouldn’t be totally surprised if Riedewald left. Loftus-Cheek will be going back to Chelsea unless we pay up but a new manager there might want to play him.

Centre midfield will become a big priority IMO

But Cabaye is having fitness problems, McArthur is having to fill a wider role and Jairo is still very new to this level of football.

It will i agree, however in the next 3 days we probably have more important areas to bring players in. Livermore will not be available this week for a decent price, we will have to pay a decent (premium) price for him.

Think we can leave CM to the summer unless there is a great deal to be had - Wilshere has not signed a new deal, Arsenal have 3 days to get any fee for him for example.

Agree 1 is out, bit we still have 3 for 2 spots, if Townsend and Zaha are fit we have 2 wide players, Sako can fill in there or at a push CYL, and we need a striker far more to Partner/push Benteke as well as Sako. Of all areas on the pitch we have greatest depth in CM.

Is he a striker? Because that is what we need.

But he probably/ quite possibly sees Wilf playing as a forward.

Its a big question, was Wilf up front because Hodgson sees that as his future, or was it because he wants to play 4-4-2 and needed someone to play up there and Wilf was the one?

If he has Sako and Benteke playing, and brings in another striker then where does he see Wilf playing - that is what i think we will find out in the next 10 days or so.

sounds just like a typical palace signing. If anything this gives more confidence we'll sign him

I'd contest that he's a solid international player. He's not bad, but he's lucky to have got near the England side. Wouldn't have had a sniff in years gone by.

Could be useful, although I'd worry about our creativity with him and Luka both in a starting eleven.
