Report says that Palace have offered £4 million in cash but it could rise to £7.5 million with incentives. They also write that we've made several bids for the player.

Yes they are. They are owned by Matthew Benham who runs his clubs with the moneyball approach, signing unnoticed/unpopular players on stats. Once proven they seem willing to sell for a profit as Brentford did with Andre Gray and Scott Hogan. Whether our "bids" will come up to expectations is a different matter....

Only 3 goals from 25 games in Holland last season is a worry. Given his age I’m probably being harsh though.

Seems we've been thanked no for the high Northman:
FC Midtjylland goes hard after the gold in Superligaen this season. So much that they are ready to refuse huge sums to keep the assault Alexander Sørloth. Crystal Palace has, according to BT's information, bid several times on Alexander Sørloth, who has taken the Super League by storm. And the latest bid from the Premier League club is worth a total of around NOK 75 million if you count on all potential bonuses. But FC Midtjylland also thanked no. READ ALSO Lighthouse Superliga coach hated TV documentary program: 'It's a burden for the team' FC Midtjylland would receive about 40 million dollars right away, while potentially 30-40 million dollars could be more based on different bonuses for the number of matches played. But the midtjyllands now keep their heads ice cold and have rejected the Premier League club's bid, which has former former Copenhagen coach Roy Hodgson at the helm. Over the last ten days there have been meetings and negotiations between FC Midtjylland and Crystal Palace, and this has resulted in more than one bid, where the last one can amount to NOK 75 million if Alexander Sørloth should change and then go and become a Premier League success. READ OUT FCK can earn millions: National team player's possible monster trade drips in the box FC Midtjylland collected Alexander Sørloth this summer from Dutch Groningen, where he never became successful. At that time he only cost at the bottom of four million kroner. After just half a year in the Super League, Alexander Sørloth has shown his huge qualities and has already hit 10 goals in 19 Superliga matches. It has multiplied his value. It's a fast-paced success, so even though the high Northman was picked up as an early replacement for Paul Onuachu, who was scheduled to be sold, he can now overtake the Nigerian in comparison to a major foreign shift. FC Midtjylland already has the finisher ready for the squad if the bid for Crystal Palace at one point is so high that it is impossible to thank no. That point, Super League's championship favorites have not yet reached. The gold medals may be worth more than potentially NOK 75 million. BT has tried to grab FC Midtjylland sports director Svend Graversen, chairman Rasmus Ankersen and director Claus Steinlein, but the FCM camp has not returned. Neither Alexander Sørloth's agent, Morten Wivestad, has returned to our inquiries. |

He hasn't played competitively for getting on 8 weeks too so he'd need some ramp up time on top of adjusting to the PL. My wife will be much more flexible for Palace on all the time if get him. Sign him up! |

His biggest negative so far has been the fairly small amount of goals he has scored on the top level. But even when not scoring he has been the man of the match for the Norwegian national team a few times. He works really hard every match, and makes all the right runs. He is tall and strong, just turned 22, has a quick mind on the pitch, rarely gets injured, and improves every season.
