Nick Powell
Like wilf had a bad time at Utd but has found his feet again at Wigan. Would be a great addition to the squad bringing goals from no10 role.

I mean this without any rudeness. Do you honestly in your heart of hearts, knowing we need quality starting players to improve our squad & depth, think Nick Powell is the answer?

Why not. Not saying him as a no1 target but as a player we don't have in our squad then I'd like us to give it a go. He's a very classy player

Powell had a bit of an attitude problem at Manyoo, iirc.

Ledley has never played in the premiership and came from Scotland, Dann had been in the prem but we got him from the championship, Luka had never played in england, Sakho obviously had proven himself but hadn’t played for a year so was a risk there.. |

Agree some of squad are not prem standard but you can look in lower leagues and find players who played for man u as a kid but never realy become a premier league starter Frazier Campbell for one. By looks of it we ain't got money just to gamble someone will be able to play at top level we need someone we have seen do it at other top club giroud martial ect not saying one day he won't play higher then 3rd tier but position were In we can't gamble today

I like the boy and think he would offer something as a number 10 but as we currently don't play that way would be a waste for him as much as us.

There are a lot of players not in our squad. I presume you mean type of player? Cabaye could be our no10 with JR and LM as DMs

As did wilf according to some reports

That's what I meant. Cabaye isn't a no10. He does his job in midfield plus he might not be here next season anyway

To be fair, would be a decent gamble at the reported 1.5m. Gives us something different to what we have, has shown buckets of potential at a lower level, and the financial risk is relatively low both in terms of fees and wages. He'd almost certainly improve the bench straight away, and then it's a case of seeing how he develops. |

Why do people read that website?
They just lift stories from other 'let's make up some bollocks' sites.
