Apple are going to be creating a lot of jobs in London over the next few years. So are Google, Amazon and Facebook. At least they'll pay employer's NI.

Looks good but beneath the veneer....on the pension, you either pay tax at source or when you draw your pension so the relief is only temporary - moot point/gain. You had to earn est £15k (taxed) before it becomes £11k to pay into an ISA. No CGT on main residence - and why should there be ? Given the enormous sums of stamp duty we pay to start with to get a roof over our heads. For those not lucky enough to get publicly funded pensions and use property as their pension they really get screwed on 2nd investments. Think most socialists I know would go bonkers if we taxed them on inheritance also.....the other financial vehicles are out the reach of most working people.

We are still taxed directly and indirectly to extremes.

We need a model that generates the most income and wealth from them be that through corporation tax, NI, income tax, VAT or whatever. I really don't like the way that they use other EU countries to reduce their corporation tax paid in Britain. However, those are the rules of the EU single market and I can't see the low tax regimes in the EU changing voluntarily. In or out of the EU the tax arbitrage opportunities provided by the single market will continue to benefit the powerful.

Yes, I do. It is good that the largest corporations on the planet are spending large amounts building new premises and expanding their work forces in London. They pay good wages and help nurture smaller businesses. I'd still like them to pay more tax though.

Good letís all be churlish then.

People are killing themselves because their benefits have been stopped or cut and disabled people are being forced into jobs they are not able to do because these wanker companies are avoiding tax.

Itís a total and utter disgrace and ****wits like you are enablers.

It is but there is another point which partly balances it. Their share prices have rocketed and the good news is that many British pensions funds will be invested in them. So those in the private sector or fully funded schemes in the public sector should benefit. With interest rates so low it is at least good that some investments are going up.

There are 1000's of companies putting stock in to fulfilment warehouses and selling in the UK and not paying VAT Tax.

Even the revenue estimate 1.5 billion in lost VAT. Even the ones that register and start ltd companies are on to some sort dodgy scam as they are all losing huge amounts of money, then after a few years liquidate and restart it with a slightly different name, the directors are always resident outside the UK.

To view the link you have to Register or Login

Then you have the question how are they getting the stock in to the UK without paying VAT, no VAT number and they need to pay VAT on import...

Blockchain will help here (eventually)

Please explain what you mean by loophole.

(Bearing in mind I know more about this than you could possibly imagine.)
