Sounds like a classic.

Similar at the Stevenage game. Woods may be a real find. With Sako and Tomkins clearly the starting pair at CB. Dann would be 3rd choice but has a bad injury. That suggests Kelly as next in line. With Jach off on loan and Ryan Inniss also struggling with a shoulder injury it means little cover. Riedeweld & Ward can theoretically play CB but I have little confidence in either as CBs.
So the improvement of Woods, possibly even as an emergency CB is seriously welcome. Hopefully he will not be pressed into service too soon but it will be good if he is deemed good enough to win a place in the 25 and train with the first team squad. |

Wickham off after 60 minutes - decent progress.

Woods isn't the most technical or quick so that may be what holds him back. Think he's got a decent chance of a pro career, but not sure if it will be in the Premier League.
Regardless, it's good to hear positive things about him!

Lumeka on for Williams after 81 minutes. Always a relief when Joniesta finishes a game intact!

Wards cross was pinpoint.

He’s an alumni of Trinity School, so very much one of our own for some on the BBS.
And a Palace fan himself. It would be a wonderful local story if he could make it with us and a huge inspiration for the academy etc. |
