£45 behind the goal for cat A games.
Went to upgrade a childs season ticket. I was shocked to discover CPFC is now £45 a ticket for cat A games in the sainsburys end.

I did know that they brought the price of a season ticket in the Whitehorse in line with the Holmesdale Lower for people not accompanying a child.
Had a nosey at the Liverpool prices and was a little surprised that the Upper Tier was the same price as the Lower and the Whitehorse (£45). Always thought the Lower and WH were £5 less than the upper? Do they still allow adults to use a kids season ticket on a school-night (not that Liverpool is during school term of course)?

Seems like a alot of money to me. The outrage people expressed when chelsea charged us £52 for the upper tier at stamford bridge perhaps not looking so outrageous now.

That was £55 for Upper Tier at Chelsea, and it was also £55 for the 'better' seats at Old Trafford the first season after promotion (which in reality were only one block along from all the others)
Hopefully we don't go back to a pricing free for all for away fans - this is the third and last season of the agreed £30 price cap period.

£50 for home support in the section next to the away end at Fulham.

Thank goodness the season ticket per game price is nothing like that amount. |

The £30 away cap is great

Now time to bring it in for home clubs as well.

Yep, the £30 away cap is brilliant. However it was only agreed for the 3 years of the current tv deal.
Some clubs take the piss a bit by charging kids in the away end £25, which isn't really in the same spirit, but I save a fortune buying 3 tickets every away game compared to the old prices. I hope the FSF keep the pressure up to keep it for a further 3 years (even if it went up to say £32) At Palace I find it odd that a front row corner seat in the Sainsbury's end is priced the same as a brilliant central seat in the Upper Tier. In reality there are very few available seats behind the goal at all at Selhurst, as almost all are season tickets.

Kids for a quid is a distant memory. With a full stadium and a waiting list its not that surprising

Supply & demand. At the end of the day if someone is desperate to see a game the view is secondary.
Think we all agree that prices for football are way too high but tickets to popular music festivals & shows are expensive these days, targeting the online chattering classes. The most important thing the club an do is to keep children s & youth tickets low to encourage the next generation of support.
