Plus you run the risk of the BBSer being a wrong'un and not showing/paying up.

My ticket in the Holmesdale Lower (Block G) is still on Twickets if anyone's still looking for a decent seat.

what happened? I went online to twickets to buy a ticket for today's game and the page is gone? Do they remove it on match day?

why on earth don't they allow printing at home? Ridiculous. Is there any other way of getting tickets or just through the Club?

We bought one yesterday. You have to wait for email from club for print at home ticket. This is to ensure they have cancelled season ticket.

I was told late last night Twickers had 70 odd tickets left at least. So the best way still seems to shift tickets on the BBS to people with decent posting history.

I listed a ticket for Chelsea. They are offering me £30 for Upper holmesdale and then take £4 off for admin fee. They then list the ticket for sale at £42.50 and charge the buyer a further £4 booking fee. So, they are not offering face value price to seller and are making £20.50 per ticket! I wonder what is CPFC''S cut. Surely, BBS can set up a more competitive system via these forums so that buyers and sellers get a better deal.

Parish owns part of Twickets from what ive read.

So all the 'helping the fans' bit is utter bollocks - its more pocket lining.

As I understand it, they offer the seller a pro-rata price based on the cost of the season ticket, so if for example the price paid for the season ticket was £570 then they would offer £30. They then sell the ticket at the normal matchday price which will obviously be higher. This seems perfectly reasonable, although less so once the admin/booking fees come into the equation. Perhaps the price differential goes to CPFC and the admin/booking fees go to Twickets although it may not be as simple as that.

Twickets has access to the cost of every individual's season ticket. The BBS does not have that information and so cannot determine a fair pro-rata price. This is one of the reasons why the sale of season tickets for individual matches is not allowed on the BBS.

Could this be because you have a season ticket you're selling for this game?

£42.50 would be the face value of if you were buying an individual ticket from the cpff box office?

Admin/booking fee costs are exhorbitant. The above also makes sense if the club sells individual tickets for each of the 19 games at the same price. However, we all know the value of Chelsea game is much higher than Burnley or Swansea game whether it is season ticket or ticket bought for a single game. As we all know the club sets a very high price for big games such as Chelsea whereas for matches such as Burnley or Swansea where theoretical face value for a season ticket holder is also say £30, it is next to impossible for season ticket holders to resell the tickets anyway as there is limited demand. A fairer system would be not to just use simple average but have "notional face-value" for each category of games, based on popularity of the game, using same formula the club already has in it different prices for different category games. With the current system where the club regards face value of Chelsea ticket the same as a Burnley ticket for example, it would be more attractive to sell tickets for big games directly via sites like holmesdale.net rather than use twickets. Overall, I consider the price of my season ticket to be very attractive (this may change next season if the worst happens!) and reselling individual games via twickets is a very good hassle free way of getting some refund when one cannot attend specific games.

Put my season ticket on there for Chelsea, then realised that a) No one is going to pay £42.50 for a ticket and b) I would only be seeing £26 of that figure. So I immediately took the ticket off the website, and sold it seconds later on Twitter for £30. The box office then sent an e-ticket to the person who bought it.

I’m struggling to place my tickets for sale for the Everton game.

I have 3 but can only list two at a time. This is fine I’ll do two lots,....but the system doesn’t recognise my tickets in their database.

They’re all together in the Whitehorse Lane. Anybody had any success listing in this stand who might like to help me out?

This doesn't really answer your questions but I wouldn't bother with twickets unless it's against a big 'toutable' team. I've had spares a couple of times this season but had no luck selling them and you receive significantly less than what they sell for.

If I was you I'd ask the box office for an e-ticket and then sell it on here/twitter.
