TV companies put the smaller clubs on more early on in the season, so that at the business end they can concentrate on the top teams, knowing they have already fulfilled their minimum obligations (minimum number of appearances) for the smaller teams

Both the early games against Man Utd and Liverpool are being shown live by Sky but in Ireland only. There is no change to 3.00pm kick off on Saturday

Tbf the two away games have both finished 3-2 with last minute drama so you can see why. Bring on a nil nil snoozefest

I'm sure we can rely on Southern Rail to do their bit to make it even more of a nightmare.

So the quote below from the club website actually means that these are the latest dates for the announcement and not the actual planned dates. First set of games were actually announced on 6th July. I originally would have expected the TV companies to want to wait until after the European group games draw before selecting the next series of TV games but with the Championship starting the week before the quietest newsday to announce the next selections could probably be Tuesday 9th August.
Quote: The fixtures for the new season remain subject to change for different reasons across the league and one of those will be when dates and kick-off times are amended for games broadcast live on Sky Sports or BT Sport. For planning purposes we show below the deadline dates as to when the games that have been chosen by the Broadcasters will be announced. August to September - 10 July October to November - 11 August December to January - 12 October February -12 December March- 25 January April - 26 February May - 6 April Final Day- Selected after clubs have played 37 games

I think you're confusing 10 points clear with 10 points adrift

October and November tv changes to be announced by Friday 11th August. The July and August ones were actually announced 4 days ahead of their announcement deadline, so could quite possibly be in the next couple of days.
Only real one with real travel implications from this next tranche is Newcastle away on the 21/22 October. Fingers crossed it isn't switched to the Friday or Monday (Monday less likely as it is the scheduled League Cup midweek)

A quick Google which I presume shows road distances rather than the how the crow flies. Bournemouth marginally the furthest, just ahead of Swansea, then Brighton, followed by Southampton.

Still nothing, so looks like they'll announce them tomorrow as planned.

Sky fixtures have been announced for October and November. We're not on once!
Not sure if the BT games have been announced yet.
