First game of next season?
The first weekend of the next Premier League season is August 11/12
Who do you want and why? I'll start by suggesting a Saturday 3pm game away at Watford as it was very pleasant in the sunshine last time, and Wilf can tear them a new one

None of the promoted teams in August, thanks.

Not a newly promoted club. They are always on a high. Better play them in November after they have been hammered a few times and are feeling a bit demoralised.

Would prefer top 6 1st few games get them out the way.
We always seem to start slow but hopefully we have turned over a new leaf and give them a game before they are fully up to speed. Not a newly promoted side! |

It'll probably be away so let's start with Arsenal away and empty their library.

Wankers at home please.
Get it out the way and catch them still on the beach. I can’t believe we’ve never beaten them in the Premier league and that lot down the road have. Got to put that right ASAP.

Someone crap like Huddersfield or Brighton first game, to hopefully get the first win early. Then in the next 5 or 6 games, top 6 teams. Avoid the promoted teams of course.

Yep. Always used to have a bet on opening day, all promoted clubs to win.
