5-0 at Selhurst ("it's gonna be five!") 1-0 Ernie Walley as manager (1980) 2-1 at Old Trafford 1989 (Fergie Out chants) 3-0 at Selhurst last day of the season 1991?

Get it out of the way and let the season begin.

I hope we avoid Wolves first match, as they’ll be full of new optimism (just like Huddersfield were this season). |

If we play Cardiff away after Jan 2019, we won't have to pay the crossing charge

Huddersfield away - and we soundly thrash them with our silky football. Our whole team wear silk slippers and those Victorian hats worn in bed as the ‘Udders wheeze and labour around after our team in miners boots trying to clog them off the pitch.
What? One all draw at home to Burnley? Oh ok then... |

Somewhere relatively close that's a good away day in the sun.
Bournemouth or Southampton for me. Fulham's a great away day when it's hot but like others have said if they win the playoffs they'll be on a roll.

Yeah I've got a funny feeling it'll be Wolves away, which would be about as bad as we could get.

We started away to Cardiff first game of 68/69 season and won 4-1 on our way to the old first division. 50 years on that would be a good chance to repeat the result.
