Point of order. Do pre-season friendlies count if you’re trying to join The 92 Club? My 9 year old is on a mission & it would be a new ground for him.

I think they should count still a fixture involving Palace.

Quite a few clubs have changed ground too so a bit debatable as to whether the old grounds count to the 92?!

Think I have been to 55 involving Palace still a bit to go for the 92!

So they have forgiven us for off-loading Mutch on them, and we have forgiven Bromley for kicking the shit out of Palace (Mark Bright: "We will never play them again").

If you did 'the 92' that way you will never complete it. Have to go watch some non-Palace games. It is surprisingly fun being able to watch the game and enjoy the atmosphere without having to worry about the score

Surprised if we play Bromley, last season was a disgrace

I only count competitive Palace games, and am on about 55 ground now. That does mean I’ll almost certainly never get to 92 though.

However you do it, best of luck

I enjoyed the weekend anyway. Personally do not think it was the tournament that messed up pre season. More like the manager who insisted on playing players in new positions and changed everything again on first day of the season

I usually walk up to the stadium and back. It's a bit of a trek, but prefer it to the buses.

Especially when Thames Valley Police send you in completely the wrong direction for buses!

Only run every other year, so the star players aren't off on extended holibobs after international duty at major tournaments.

Oh, and Hong Kong was brilliant fun last year.
