Had to shelter in the crappy toilets to get a respite from the driving rain. Miserable weather, can't believe it was so long ago The opening of the new stadium was lovely weather. Did a mini pub crawl around th city centre. So many good pub gardens |

If I'm going to miss the Scandinavian friendlies then seriously tempted to drive up from Cornwall for this. Is this a first team friendly?

Inside the toilets was the only dry spot in the away end, but it was also full of smokers and a complete fug.

As I'm not sure of Baldy's current log on, I'll ask the question for him. Can you pay on the gate?

Trains from Paddington run to Didcot Parkway and then 'fast' bus to Oxford from there. (Bus 30 mins) Trains from Marylebone run to Oxford Parkway and then bus to Oxford. (bus 25mins) Did Oxford Parkway to Oxford on the bus (4 miles) last year and the 25 mins is due to working its way through the entire length of Oxford and its crappy traffic! I suppose the Didcot bus uses the A34 to cover more distance quickly. In general the Paddington option is quicker despite the longer bus journey. The ground is another 20 minute local bus journey (1/3A/5) out of town, neither train replacement bus will likely go anywhere near it sadly. Last edited by LN1; 12-07-2018 at 03:30 PM. |
