If the game ran over by 10 minutes or so, and you were down the front (therefore not out as quickly), then the 5.15 may be a bit of a stretch to make - it's around a 20 minute walk at a normal pace, so even being out of the ground bang on full time at 4.45 (when is the last time that happened?), you'd only have around a 10 minute buffer.

The two subsequent trains from Hudds to Wakefield (changing at Leeds) get you there before the connection though.

If there's a change at Leeds, you could probably get on the London train there, just not have your seat booked until Wakefield

No worries as a back up plan if you don't make the 5-15 there is a faster service direct which leaves Huddersfield at 17-38 only takes 23 mins which gets in at 18-01 which will still be in time for the connection.

Was a great away day last year enjoy!

Just bought block 4.Not many left
Box office say they have asked Huddersfield if they will give us block 3 or will be selling it to home fans

Has to be warmer than last season's visit...I was in the front row and the mini blizzard in the second half was an 'interesting' experience!

Eh?

Block 3 is part of the away section (or was last season).

Unless they've totally redesigned the segregation barriers...

Agree with you there. Last season we were in block 3 the home sections were only 1 & 2. There was a good segregation walkway between the 2 sets of fans but it was narrow enough to have a good bit of friendly banter with the locals. The only thing that has changed that I can see is they have renamed the stand from the Chadwick Lawrence Stand to the The Abzorb Stand.
I got 3 tickets for the North East exiles no bother this morning in row F block 4

Blocks 3 to 6 is the full away section which is around 2,300. It appears that so far we've only taken 6, 5, and part of 4 - around 1,500 - and they're just about on the point of selling out. Certainly hope the club can get more as it hasn't even got to the guest tickets phase yet.

Surely we've got the whole allocation of blocks 3 to 6, we just haven't started selling Block 3 yet until the others have sold out?

It's not like they can let HTFC fans have them, there would be no segregation?

I don't know specifically about Huddersfield's ground but at most grounds they can just segregate with some netting or something similar across a strip of seats and a couple of lines of stewards. I'm not sure whether Huddersfield ever use block 3 for home fans but legaleagle2's post above suggests that our box office have not so far requested block 3 and are checking with Huddersfield whether they can now get it.

Palace's officials should now ask for the additional block immediately. Are we really only going to ask for 1500 tickets when the team is looking so good?
