.... remember there used to be the option of collection as you bought them (and chose the location of your seats), but the collection bit was them removed.

Try buying a concert ticket for any popular artist at the O2 through ticketmaster, they add on about 8-10 quid to the order for various service, processing and postage charges

True, but what's being pointed out is a possible change in CPFC policy for next season?

Is it that much of an issue (even by BBS standards) if the print at home option is free?

Was thinking about going to this. But £20 a ticket? Nah.

Which always pisses me right off. Just give the price upfront, why say it’s £70 when the total ends up as nearer £80 after ‘processing charges’? What processing can they do to justify such additional cost anyway? It’s just a sneaky way of upping the price and - probably avoiding tax in some way. |

See two billboard adverts regarding this game this weekend: streatham high road and purley way. Ironically with a picture of wilf and the words “come see me”

Same price as the Charity Shield. Won't be popping along due to exorbitant cost. Well done Palace.

On a side note, it is odd that the club are marketing it as the return of John Bostock*.
If it was the return of Steve Coppell I could understand it, but I cannot get past that he was a money grabbing tosser and legged it at the first opportunity before he had even got any experience, shafting the club in terms of the fee they got. I know he's done a heartfelt interview since, but it doesn't change anything about how I feel about him. Sorry. Have people really forgiven and forgotten? Will Palace fans literally clap every former Palace player who returns to Selhurst??
