Postage charge for ticket orders
I see we're now being charged posting fees. How much is the club earning from being in the premier league?
It's only £1.50 but shit like this really pisses me off.

They earn nothing from selling you an away ticket though.

So? What's 2-3 grand in postage costs to a premier league club? It's not even a day's wages for most of our players.
It's the principle of it that bothers me. Same as charging fans £50 for a replica shirt, or £40 for an infant kit. Milking fans for money rather than giving something back for their loyalty.

Is there an option to pick up tickets from the box office when buying online or are we forced to have them posted to us unless we go to the box office in person?

Do they have the tickets in the box office or have they managed to put them on sale before they have them in hand, meaning you have to get the tickets posted either way?
£1.50 is a joke. If you buy tickets for multiple fans in different stages, you will get charged for multiple deliveries. No option to hold tickets back, no option to pick up tickets. Oh, I forgot, you can organise that on the premium rate phone number! Conference Infrastructure.

I think it's disgusting to charge us for posting away tickets when they been posted for free upto now.
I was still just getting over the massive hike in season ticket prices throughout the ground. We are becoming just another Premier League club.

It's not much but it's the principle of it has previously been said. It all adds up over a season. Memberships go up a fiver each season it seems, kits too, still only prem club with a premium rate phone number, season tickets a good £50 to £100 more for many, match day tickets for international fans closer to £50 than £30 and still need a membership to buy them. Why aren't we taking a stand??? Also I was led to beleive there was a 3000 strong waiting list for season tickets and they weren't bothered if I didn't renew back in April. Had a look at the website and seems a lot of people haven't renewed due to the price increase and you can book a season ticket right now if you wanted to.

Were charging £1.50 last season per purchase not per ticket. Is a piss take why not charge the actual cost 57p postage 10p envelope so 67p just making a few pennies for the sake of it. like we do we have linked all our accounts together so we buy 8 together and only pay 1.50 once

My season ticket only increased in price by £10.
The trick is to renew at the Early Bird price as soon as possible as the price increases if you do not take advantage of this offer. |

No, the postage charge is new for this season. And it's £1.50 per order, not per ticket.

Bit of a joke for those who can’t travel to Selhurst just to pick up tickets. Why oh why have they done that?! For the sake of 1.50£ - had enough of the petty surcharges. Premium phone number and now this. I know it’s only 1.50 but ffs. We aren’t a struggling club in league 2.

Guys, just think:
Over the course of the season, this may well pay for one week of Jordon Mutch's well earned wages. If that doesn't warm your heart, nothing will. |

Farcical bit of penny pinching. Who makes these stupid petty decisions?
