2 days between games ?
Roy happy to play his 2nd eleven then. Game time for Guiata, Ward, Kelly, Ayew, Meyer, Sorloth, Kouyate etc etc.

Be mad not to. Think the memory of losing both Townsend and Schlupp in the FA Cup defeat at Brighton will be fresh in Roy's mind.

What a joke so likely squad players and U23's and they expect Palace fans to travel all that way to watch
Football has gone completely mad and not giving Clubs a fair chance after all a good run in this cup and a win at Wembley and you qualify for Europe but having to play on the Tuesday could affect our chances of progressing. |

7.30 is a bit of a pain, but I guess we can't talk as Palace did the same to Blackpool fans a couple of seasons ago and their coached arrived at half time

Isn’t the last train actually at 8:29?

The 9:45 says it doesn’t get back to London until 6am......

Thanks, yes should have pointed out that there is a long wait (4hrs) at Bristol TM to Connect into the first London train from there. That was actually the reason I put the hotel prices up as the train return option was poor or non existent.

Would be very surprised if we take more than a few hundred to it
The worst draw possible Will be a reserve team And no way of getting back without driving or club coach |

In my opinion this is when the club should lay on free coach travel

Well, this is a result for me. I'm in Wales and driving down for that. No change of flights or extra hotels - sorted!
Team-wise though that is a bit shit to ask to play 2 games in 52-odd hours. Asking us to play the reserves really. Last edited by the drexciyan; 20-08-2018 at 10:01 AM. |
