Saw a newish band called Shame at the Electric ballroom in Camden. To view the link you have to Register or Login
They are a punk indie band who are quite energetic to say the least. Was a joy to see them play in a venue of that size. They are already playing the Forum in Kentish Town later this year. Definitely worth seeing live if you like that type of music.

Breeders in Prague a week later. Chance of Kim jumping on stage to do Gigantic?

Going up to that Breeders Roundhouse gig but mainly for Pip Blom supporting. My fave "new" outfit at the minute. Breeders gr8 too mind. Saw Cabbage a couple of weeks ago they were really enjoyable . Agree with comments on Shame above, been close to seeing them in recent times but failed to get through the door. Didn't win tickets to the 100 Club one for starters. Recommend Ash in Kingston for a tenner later this month (Banquet Records) and just signed up for Brian Jonestown Massacre at Concorde 2, Brighton in October. Feels like spring!

Saw the Manics at Wembley Arena on Friday, first time I'd seen them in six or seven years and they were great: wasn't so keen on The Coral who opened the show for them though.

Me and about 6 other people watched Bob Drake in Worthing last night. Not my usual cup of tea but interesting and entertaining nonetheless. Crayola Lectern, Fiction Aisle (new live album is great) and Fierce Friends in the Albert tonight.

Saw Avi Buffalo on Friday at St Pancreas Old Church. One of the weirdest gigs I've ever been to.
The crowd was so polite that they whispered between songs the only noise coming from the odd person
Opening a can and the Chi Ming of the church bells every half hour. A really unusual but interesting venue.

As for Avi Buffalo, his amazing guitar playing and delecate voice suited the surroundings to a T.
Left me wondering why this unique performer doesn't attract a much bigger audience.

Going to see the Rolling Stones at the London Stadium on Tuesday night. I hope itís a better venue for gigs than it is for football matches.

Last time I saw the Stones live I thought they were getting on a bit, that was over 35 years ago.

Didn't realise he was playing.

Adore the first album, and a really good live act.

Was there last night - the sound quality was all over the place but generally it was shite. Might have been great in the golden circle but far too many twats jumping about, taking selfies and chatting shit to each other at full volume rather than watch what they'd paid best of a £100 each to see.

What a dreadful place to hold concerts in - the toilets were the worst ones I've seen at a football ground too (if you're getting your place heavily subsidised, you could at least spend some money on fitting urinals that don't overflow into a lake of piss)
