De Boer v Pellegrino - who will last the longest?
Both managers heavily linked to both clubs, the appointments could have been the other way around and no one would have been too shocked
It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out with Palace and So'ton talking about the longer term, 3 year contracts to both but who will be the last man standing? Just some light hearted discussion as there'll obviously be a few twists and turns to come.

Polls are relevant when it is an option on opinion rather than predict the future.
Anyhow I voted for De Boer... |

So somehow responding isn't an opinion?

FDB.
Soton , for some reason, have higher expectations that are more likely not to be met.

I'll go with FDB.
Pellegrino's supposed style is counter attacking and making most use of set pieces. They just sacked Puel for not being attractive enough despite getting to a cup final and an 8th place finish.

Fresh speculation, how long will de Boer, Pellegrino and the OP last in their current roles? New vote

Pellegrino will either do well and get fired or do REALLY well and switch clubs, its the Soton way

I'd say Pellegrino as I reckon Frank is going to have an amazing season with us next year and then will be picked up by a Champions League club next summer

Have to agree, if he gets us a top 7 finish or 2 top 8 finishes then he will be off to Barca or another top team. Still, if we can achieve our best ever finish in the Premier League then it was worth hiring him.

Pellegrino off to PSG within 12 months
De Boer will be here for years |

Pellegrino, he's not changing a style of football and trying to keep a team up.

Really? Saints fans want a change in the style of football and between 8th and 17th was 6 points last season. Any team which has a bad run is suddenly in a relegation battle.
