I think CAFC had £5 matches against Premier League oppo on a Saturday at 3pm. 100% they did against Championship sides.

£5 would generate more in terms of people buying programmes, food, drink and the chance to attract new fans, namely the younger generation. Maybe even £5 would bring more in just from gate receipts.

The ticket price for the replay is laughable. Reserves v 3rd Division dross, £20 - yeah alright!

Isn't about time Maz had another flounce and ****ed off for a couple of months

Maz is also a liar , and didnt pay up on a bet . If it was anyone else who didn't pay up on a bet he would have hounded them off the BBS?

If your worried about the cost of a ticket you would not be buying anything in the ground.

Absolute joke. 4 home wins since Christmas 2015 and now they want us to pay £20 to watch a cup replay in January. Give the fans who made the arduous journey north, a free ticket at the very least.

In business if you have a product which isn't selling you lower the price.

It's not unreasonable to suggest that £5 tickets would massively increase the attendance. The club can afford this pricing partly because there would be a greater attendance and quite frankly it would be a nice gesture with the shite home form of several years.

The club needs some enthusiasm injected into it. A home win in front of say 17k with a great atmosphere is what is required.

There's been a very casual attitude to all aspects of Palace this year. We've taken things for granted. We should be constantly looking to expand our fanbase. A home cup game gives the perfect oppurtunity to do this as I imagine getting one off tickets for a home Premier League game is pretty hard

In the spirit of fairness (and means testing), people who went today should be made to pay double because obviously they can afford it.

Also tickets on general sale now and you can buy anywhere , so those who travelled to bolton today could potentially not even be able to sit in their "own" season ticket seat.

If you're going to go into the economics, do you think by halving the price we would get double the attendance? I doubt it myself but you never know.

It would've been a nice bit of goodwill though considering how poor we've been for so long.
