Isn't there a minimum ticket price set by the FA, at like £10 or something? Still £20 is too much.

Can the club at least move the away fans back just for one game

17k paying 5 quid=85k. 5k paying 20 quid=100k. So 15 k more but those extra 12k in attendance may well spend money in the ground to make up the difference. |

I believe bolton would have to agree to a price that low since they get 40% of the gate

Not any more. I only heard on the radio today, but several here have noted, the home side can set the price, but the MINIMUM has to be £10 for an adult ticket. I think that kids can be any prices.

Yep, sometimes business owners are very short sighted and only see the upfront costs and NOT the overall event or Job costs !!!!! (one of my partners very much like that ) and potential profit !!!!!!!!!!

This is a sorry state of affairs. I was going to bring a few friends but with those prices and a lack of student concession I think the club have just lost a few potential fans. I'm actually staggered with the pricing given our form. The only explanation I can think of is that there must have been some agreement in place with Bolton pre match.

I'd love to think there are 17k who would turn up to see us play Bolton in a cup replay on a Tuesday night in January even if it was free, but unfortunately I very much doubt it.

Keep being offered row 2 in my block in the Holmesdale lower but I don't row 2, I want to sit where I normally do. Have to try phoning on Monday. What a shambles. |

The worst bit is putting them on sale before the loyals who braved the trip to some dreadful northern craphole have even got home.
It's ok, though - big nose will be on the radio soon rolling out the yer knows and everyone will forget getting ****ed over until next time.

Not doing my usual 120 round trip for this one, certainly not adding £18 to the travel costs.
