Instead of using money to throw cantona t shirts to the man utd fans we could have used that money to offer cheap tickets to local people who can't afford to watch palace.

Wasn't Stoke cheaper last year?
I am sure it was no more than £15

Southampton away in the FA cup this time last year was £12 adults, £5 for kids. They sold 32,000. £20 for adults means we'll be lucky to scrape 7k for this replay. Shabby.

Seeing as this is a'bonus' game that should not have been acounted for in any financial forecast, any money made from the game is indeed a bonus. Selling tickets for £10 would have been a nice 'thank you' to al our long-suffering fans.

My mistake I thought a number of fans saw it.

I wouldn't have gone anyway even if it was a fiver as i live too far away so i probably shouldn't moan and blame the price.Surely they could have made it general sale though without being a member to try to get a few new locals in?

I'm pretty sure the ticket prices have to be agreed by both clubs as we split the proceeds

We would get 17k with 5 quid tickets.
Even Charlton get massive crowds with that pricing! |

Yes. Will be a pretty poor crowd

However I am sure that when Steve Browlett used to answer questions on here he demonstrated that the reduction in ticket prices even by ten pounds was never made up by the sale of food and beverage or program sales. The club has a awaiting list for season tickets for next season and I guess if new fans come fro a tenner should they be able to get a ticket for a game next season they won't want to pay £30+.

£20 - forget it...not even the light show is enough of a lure

Given the speed that the ticket info was issued, these prices were agreed with Bolton prior to the game. And probably in tune with the game at Bolton. Eg. Same price for both.

It's weird that last season's 4th round against Stoke at Selhurst was cheaper than this 3rd round replay against Bolton.
