You'd think they'd price it after they knew whether it would be on TV or not, whatever your viewpoint.

A joke. The crowd will be 6,000-8,000 (closer to 6k I reckon), whereas if we had £5 for adults and £1 for kids and everyone else we'd probably get something more like 15,000.
Because we're 'South London and Proud' we're going to charge expensive tickets to those who can't normally go (thus putting them off going) to Palace because of sold out home games |

Rules changed re pricing and is set purely by the home team.
'the Club playing at home shall decide on the prices of admission, subject to a minimum price of £10.00 for all spectators other than concessions.' Sorry its pure greed. Just as making the likes of Watford and Leicester Cat A games. and loyalty points based on merch and food. What is happening to our club? Last edited by Billyd; 07-01-2017 at 08:28 PM. |

True that. FC United of Manchester usually charge £9 and had the right hump that they had to charge £10 for a 1st round game last season

I think the performance against West Ham is going to be key for me. I just cannot imagine feeling enough enthusiasm if we are abject there. Price wise I don't really care. They could have probably been kinder but what's £3 at the end of the day. Hardly the difference between going or not.

Lol. I'd rather give the 18 quid to charity than waste it watching that shit.

Anyone who travelled up to watch that dross today should be given a free ticket for the replay.

Before moaning at Palace's pricing have a look at how much some clubs charged Palace fans attending pre-season friendlies.
Premier League clubs revenue is so far ahead of the Football League clubs that the Football League clubs have to maximise their cut of ticket revenue when they play them in cup ties. For this reason even if Palace wanted to charge less Bolton would probably not be party to it as it would mean less money for them. This ticket pricing was agreed by both clubs in the event of a replay before the tie was played and it is unfair to blame Palace for the agreed prices. |

£10 an adult will produce a far bigger crowd than £20/18 an adult, most people aren't going to be that bothered by this game, the £10 difference is probably enough to put lots off given our form/Tuesday night game/Bolton etc.

No it wasnt. It was agreed by Palace if they had to host a replay. Read the rules. The price is entierly set by home and has no bearing on what the price was for the initial game.

18 quid is ridiculous
Not sure who's setting these prices, but these games are normally a standard £15 at most.

I would go for a tenner I won't go for eighteen however as I have said Steve Browlett showed how the club makes more money with a higher ticket price I don't think that the crowd would double if it was £10 compared to £18 or £20 but then I don't know and neither do you and it will ,ale no difference the price is set and that's that,.

I agree why can't people do a quick search on google and get some facts before they make stupid posts the OP saying it should be a fiver when it clearly can't only serves to make him look far dafter than the £18 ticket price !

Directors box seats @ £25 seems unusually cheap to me

I see we are charging exactly the same as Bolton priced today
I assume it's an FA rule you have to charge the same for a replay, or we are trying to make a point by charging their fans what they charged ours?

It's almost as if the club has a mole on the BBS who reported back that they should release the price as soon as possible so this thread couldn't gather momentum. When it comes to making decisions about rinsing the fans they are surprisingly quick
