Good luck to the Champion Hill Blues.
Yes the Enfield mob are a rough bunch but are just all mouth. Amazing example of living of the state for generations and supporting spurs or chelsea. Don't do it kids, u only have one life.

Anyone up for a bank holiday on the south coast? "We are the mods, we are the mods etc"

In reality, it'll be the least scary invasion of a seaside town by Londoners since Kenneth Moore and his friends in Genevieve, but I'm hoping there should be a few hundred of us. There's something pleasingly Victorian about the sound of Bognor Regis v Dulwich Hamlet. Technically the biggest match in our history so it would be a shame to miss it.

After the shambles at Selhurst yesterday Sekajja's hat trick goal is well worth a look.

I'm really pleased for Bognor, especially their manager Jamie Howell, who's a great coach.

Very disappointing but quite a good laugh nonetheless. The first half did appear to be a case of choking under pressure but we rallied well in the 2nd half. Attacking our own fans crowded under the low corrugated iron roof created a great atmosphere that reminded me of 3rd Division football in the 70's.

And to be fair we did bring a larger travelling support than some National League clubs manage to muster at home. It's a shame we couldn't rub their noses in it given the amount of BHA leisure wear on display in the home crowd. Sadly, when you're pitted against these sorts of provincial boors from Sussex or Kent it goes with territory and you just have to put up with it.

It's a strange sort of person that derives Schadenfreude from the failings of a non league football club. I think there's a word for it beginning with 'c'.

Unlucky Dulwich, go again next year. Third time lucky and all that.

Of utmost importance now is to have the new ground plans approved.

As a footnote to the excellent posts from Elwiss and your good self, one of the many good things about watching football at Dulwich Hamlet is the camaraderie between fans of other clubs. Plenty of Palace and Millwall together and at a recent game was sitting next to a Chelsea fan (old school) who can't afford their prices so watches Millwall and Dulwich Hamlet instead.

Like you I was amazed that anyone could take delight in the failing of a non league club.

As a Tanners fan , It's nice Dulwich are still in the same Division as us and we also have Dorking wanderers FC and Tooting and Mitcham FC joining us next year .

Went yesterday, didn't bottle it just happens that Bognor are a better team, as a quick look at the table would show.

Great support and can't wait till next year - our 125th!

Do any of the older Dulwich/Palace supporters recollect either Ron Crisp or Dave Kent playing for Hamlet many years ago?

I played schoolboy football with Ron who went from Dulwich to Watford-Brentford and became friends with Dave via work.

Surprised that Bognor's ground supposedly has a 4500 capacity. It must have a lot less seats than Champion Hill and the rest of it was terracing of no more than 3 or 4 steps like ours. Haven't Dulwich considered extending the platforms behind both goals all the way around the ground. That would probably add 1-2K to the capacity at a minimal cost. Or would the nimby neighbours object.
