They also took a massive swipe at Labour accusing them of delaying tactics yesterday which was a significant cause of the lack of time for debate on devolution. SNP with Plaid support will not get them very far.
I think, and I could be wrong, this is more to play to the Scottish electorate. Not saying they do not have a right to have greivances with the government but brexit is the peg that the SNP can hang their hat on to give justification to another Independence vote. Fishing rights are a biggy and while May negotiates it with the EU, they are doing it without any recourse to the devolved powers of Holyrood. It has put the nose of the SNP out of joint and with some justification.

And as The Speaker said, by walking out the SNP have now lost their opportunity to ask the questions they were already scheduled to ask the PM this morning.

Seeing as it could be argued that PMQs are simply a means by which each party gets some soundbites out (unfortunately what seems to a very valuable commodity in politics these days) I think they wont be too upset at not getting the chance to ask the questions they intended to.

I've been critical of the SNP in the past but right now they have a few genuine grievances on a number of issues including high speed rail, powers devolved in the unlikely event of Brexit, renewable energy subsidies and investment in the North Sea oil and gas industries. She doesn't always go the right way about it but some of the concerns are genuine.

If the SNP have a good case, PMQs was an opportunity for everyone to hear it. Now whilst I know they’re hacked off, the exact reasons are no clearer to most of us.

If taking the vote after PMQs (as advised by The Speaker and his team), was the correct procedure, then that’s what they should have stayed to do. They could have landed their grievances during the PMQs in the meantime.

Oh it's certainly juvenile behaviour. Bercow is a paper hat but not sure he had any choice.

Yes, and backbenchers as well. Apparently a Tory MP shouted across at the SNP MPs last night when they were complaining about not having a chance to have their voices heard in the brexit votes, that if they do not like it they should go and commit suicide.

I doubt it. Any verifiable source?

The thing that is forgotten in all this is Corbyn probably had his best PMQ's in terms of landing punches and not taking too many.

No-one will remember his exchanges with May though.

Many thanks. Maybe I said I doubted it in hope, rather than anything else.

He foolishly stood up to them on protocol which he hadn't checked, since he could've called their bluff on the requested vote right then. He said as much off microphone whilst talking to one of the Commons law people in front of him at the time, but by then the SNP had already been sent out and were marching out the door en masse.

The SNP played him like a mug, and they were right to.

Yes it appears that the SNP call for an emergency vote was a valid one, and Bercow did blurt out after expelling Blackford, that an emergency vote should be held immediately. It was too late as Blackford had started to exit, with the other SNP MPs and Blackford claims he never heard Bercow.

In a way of little relevence as the point was made in the dramatic way intended (halting PMQs would have been as equally as dramatic).

Now lets see how the MP's actions are viewed by the Scottish electorate.

Oh ffs Heb stop being so pedantic, I actually had not heard it but restated what I thought I had heard on TV from a Scottish Lib Dem person a few hours earlier . Having posted what I had, with the words 'apparently' , I then thought it right to search for something that verified it.

I hope you dont go into bore mode on this thread, as it is potentially quite interesting how this will all play out, both in Westminster and probably more importantly up here. The SNP have either done something well judged and clever or they have acted with desperation and petulance and scored a massive own goal in the process.
