To me it looked like he was expressing his support at the videos and was just requesting the next one to be video of support for Roy - the use of 'Woy' was intended as an endearing nickname rather than an insult. Could be wrong though. |

I don't post on here as often as some but when I do I don't take the piss out of the way someone speaks. I don't believe it was an endearment, it was going with flow of the media. Prick is not on the swear filter.

Ah Jim Cannon...Captain of the famous Palace 'Team of the 80's'. Managed by Terry Venables we won promotion in 1979 after 52000 saw us beat Burnley and went straight to the top of the old Division One. Arguably the best ever Palace team. Do any of you remember who was in the squad?

Nope, great for their time and maybe if today’s players played on the mud with green stuff we called Selhurst Park back then, they might beat it out of today’s team but a decent surface with the rules applied today and they would be down to 6 men and slaughtered.

Here is a picture of the 79-80 team. I don't seem to have the 78-79 team:

What I love about Nick's work beyond the fact they are very funny is that they serve as a historical record of a moment in time that watching again reminds one of.
Easily forgotten all that happened in such a short time before Warnock's appointment. |

Introduced my 60 year old Dad to a palace minute last night, was shocked he’d never come across it before. Went with the Dougie leaves palace episode, as we had just finished watching the 12/13 season review on YouTube.
