I used to own Don Rogers' away shirt (the white one with badges on each arm). It was kept in an airing cupboard until the day my mother cut it up and used it as dusters.

That was Birmingham wasn't it? Remember that game well. All we did was bomb down the wings and brainlessly cross balls in against a defence with three giant centre backs... Tactics were awful. Dunno why, but that always stuck with me.

I have the Palace admiral football masters jersey from a few years back.It is like a bloody circus tent!

I have an original late 70's White Admiral Sash Shirt given to me by the club for my dog who was the club mascot to wear on match-days in the Family Stand part of the Main Stand where he also had a season ticket and Palace Supporters Club Photo Pass.
As my dog was a Bearded Collie the shirt was too big for him and so we bought him a junior shirt and cut it down to size. The thing that you notice about my Admiral shirt is how well they were made back then and the quality of the stitched on club badge. |
