I know they're slightly different circumstances, but Peter risdsle was widely blamed for Leeds' massive overspending and descent into financial mess, but he managed to get other high profile jobs running football clubs. Can't see how any financial backers or investors would want the likes of ridsdale or Jordan anywhere near a club they had an interest in! |

Yes he would - it's a 2 strikes and you are out policy. In fact the 2 strikes have to be within a few years of each other as well so someone with say 10 years between 2 seperate admins could still do it.

I got his book for Xmas & read it in 4 days & you know what? I really dont know what to think about his tenure anymore? I was never a fan of his from day 1,mainly due to his initial treatment of Coppell, which,if everything is true about what happend the way he wrote it,is just an unfortunate clash of personalitys who never would have gelled, which is a major shame. As for everything else that happend later on in his tenure i believe he was the architect of his own downfall due to his sheer unfettered Arrogance which, even in late 2009 early 2010 when he was robbing Peter to pay Paul while the grim reaper of Administration loomed ever larger over him he still refused to Accept the truth. I thank him for saving us in 2000 & just wished it never had the ending it did! (although,in CPFC2010 we now have a far superior owner! )I hope he sorts his life out,if only for his soon to be 5yo Daughter Cameron.

Maybe if he could edit himself and cut out the nonsense: 'Morally, ethically and logistically...' [Take your bollocks out your mouth SJ]

I really enjoyed reading it. Took a lot of what he said with a pinch of salt, admired some of his business acumen and scoffed at othe things he said.
He is honest in talking about the players/managers he likes and dislikes but as a Palace fan it is well worth a read. |

Over half way through this book now (up to the start of the premiership season chapter). Got it for xmas and only started reading it last week. Its a actually a great read and a fantastic incite into what went on behind the scenes at our club, all be it one mans opinion of it all. Still as passionate and out spoken as ever, its quite clear the the people he doesn't like he is intent on not saying one good word about them in the whole book
![]() At the end of the day, he put a load of money into our club and for that I'm greatful for the good times I witnessed. Was also a rather entertaining character and was determined not for our club to be treated like mugs and stood up against a corrupt system. Nothing wrong with that. We lost out a lot because of this but everyone loses out that ill practises continue (except agents, fifa, the fa, the premier league etc). If you cannot afford to keep chucking money into a loss making football club it will go into administration and fail like it did. Such is the nature of football if cpfc2010 ever decide they want to stop chucking money into the club it will fail again. This club is loss making as is pretty much every other club in the league.

Always felt that football is ou scratch my back and I'll... When the crunch came along Jordan had no friends because he didn't play by the rules. His stance on agents I sympathised with and so did did many on here. The battle with Murray(Charlton) was great knock about stuff. I didn't quite buy his view that Parish would do anything to get control though Parish may have concluded that Jordan had to go before he did.
