My train home was 4+4. Then for about the first week of extended trains it was 5+5. Since then it's been 6+4. The trouble is the onboard messages are still set up for 4+4, so a fair amount of people in coaches 5 or 6 think they are going to Tattenham - but they aren't.

Got home to £36 of Delay Repay vouchers for a few delayed trains at the start of the year. Decent.

They are horrible trains to be honest.

Never split a 3+3 train so not sure how it works. They usually run as six cars and if tens can't get split often that's for sure.

Landslide on the Seaford line, Southern are truly useless.

That would be network rail's responsibility.

Mine was delayed yesterday morning on the Tattenham corner line due to the last driver to park their train at Tattenham blocked all the others in.

Signalling problems at Selhurst, network rail's fault I think? They're just as inept mind you, spent all that money and so many signal failures or 'electrical supply problems' already this year.

Or Notwork Fail as they are often referred to. They are going to be busy in quite a few places for a while now though. The tocs will still bear the brunt of the customers anger, despite none of the infrastructure problems being their fault.

Network Rail have got rid of a lot of P-way staff, it's not going to be a quick fix. Bad times ahead.

I was surprised I got into work on time yesterday. I was expecting huge problems due to the weather.

How does a driver block someone in at Tattenham?

Took me an hour to get from Gipsy Hill to Clapham Junction this morning. Glad I only make that journey once every month.
I've been happily getting the 8.01 to Epsom in the mornings recently and its only ever been a few minutes late. Its not a very frequent service and I know that my time is due for it to be massively delayed/cancelled. I reckon Southern were expecting a snow day or two in January and February and hence gave everyone a load of holiday or something.

Could be worse try catching a train to Cornwall at the moment.
