I have seen many times on the BBS that the area under the Holmesdale is flooded. Does that stand need replacing and, if so, over what timeframe?

The flooding can be fixed. The Holmesdale does not need replacing and doing it up would probably be the last phase of the re-development.

As Lord Flange says, I was hoping a lot of this was already planned out by now so we could get cracking asap.

Main Stand would be first as that has the potential to bring in more income.

Also, from reading various threads, the pitch apparently needs making bigger, and the new advertising boards would leave less space for pitch enlargements...

Steve
Can something be done with the guttering on the Main Stand roof as when it rains heavy during matches those sitting in the front area of block C get soaked and often have to move to avoid the drenching.
With the ground full there would be nowhere for those supporters to relocate to.
So could something be done to improve the guttering

Gents please tell me you are going to fix the roof in the main stand towards the whitehorse end. Getting drenched there really does somewhat spoil a day out!!

Ps you've done a truly brilliant job in three years the best of any board since Mr Arthur Wait thanks a million

It sounds like that for every pound we earn from promotion we need to spend another two more.

I have absolute faith that the board will be able to steer us through these tumultuous times.

It is probably too early to say but would the introduction of goal line technology be a one time expenditure i.e. once it is installed it would just stay there even if a current PL club got relegated?

I imagine that it would be installed before every game and if playing in a league or cup game where it's not mandatory then it would not be used

As I sat in block b at the beer festival yesterday looking around the ground, it got me thinking where and what we could improve in the stadium temporarily.
First thing that came to me was adding extra seats by filling in the corners but only the corner in the Holmesdale next to block A and below the wheelchair area seemed the only option.
Would adding any temporary seats be an option that you guys would look to boost the capacity and earn a bit more through ticket sales for next season?

Yes, new seats will go in that corner now that the away fans are no longer there and we have some money!

We were discussing this yesterday at the beer fest.

Knock down the disabled section ; build a temporary one between the main stand and whitehorse for example

Put temporary seating in the corner between AW and Holmesdale

Another 2-3k seats for us to sell?...
