The club are delighted to announce we will be holding our first Business Club Lunch of 2018 on Thursday 8th February at Selhurst Park Stadium between 12noon to 3pm.

The next event will be based around the new stadium Nick Marshall from KSS and Guy Wickett will present a Q&A session on the vast amount of work and progress made regarding the Stadium Development Plan.

The afternoon will include three course hospitality, a mini Stadium tour and your chance to network with like minded people from different industry sectors.

We are expecting this event to sell out quickly. Individual places can be secured for £55 plus VAT, or tables of 10 are available at the discounted rate of £500 plus VAT.

Pray what is a "mini stadium tour"?

Is it a) every one gets in a Mini and is driven around the stadium, b) a show and tell of the model of the the stadium that they had on announcement day, or c) a quick look at the restaurants, bars and the changing rooms at the stadium as they are now?

A far cry from the days of the old the old Social Club in middle of the car park. So upset when they knocked that down I went for a comiseration piss down the side of Uncle Ron's Jag on the way back from visiting a mate in South Norwood.

Mini Stadium tour is you go from the Wright and Bright lounge (formerly 'Players' lounge) through the dressing rooms corridor, through the tunnel, along the front of the old stand, sit in the dugouts, then up the steps into the Directors box and look at the trophies outside the boardroom. It takes about 15 minutes max.

Doubt much of the 15 minutes is spent looking at the trophies

No, but I believe that is being recreated in the London Dungeon.

Does anyone know when the plans are being formally submitted this month? And when the meetings are being held with Sainsbury’s too?

I suspect not - and that's the way parish would want it. When the plans are submitted it will become public knowledge though as it will appear online on somewhere in my understanding.

It’ll be public record on the Croydon council planning website
