Very much part of the early years under Terry Vegtables and of course followed Terry the Spiv in their defection to QPR and on to Barcelona too.
Not quite sure how he was viewed by the players, I heard an amusing story that his nickname at Palace was 'The Mask' after he got tricked into wearing keeper John Burridge's joke horror mask in a training ground prank. RIP AH.

Part of the Team of the 80's .......brother of Ron at Chelsea he and Venables path crossed many times during their playing career. Like TV he got into coaching and they made a great team besides us QPR and Barcelona. Small in terms of time he was a major part of our history. Condolences to his family and friends. Thanks for the memories Burnley and Ipswich for starters.

As you were part of our setup, you will always be remembered as "one of our own" great memories of an era that brought mixed emotions with much misery, but also MUCH joy to us fans in the see saw changes we experienced.
