Being the sad anorak that I am, all I wanted was a new ground to watch Palace at ...

I watched as mouth-watering tie after mouth-watering tie ... Macc Town ... Mansfield ... darlo (top lads) ... Wigan all went begging ...

Until at last I got my wish, a new ground to watch Palace on ... ONLY WE WERE GOING THERE THIS SEASON ANYWAY ... how flaming frustrated do I feel right now??

(Hey alan and its not even local)

Can someone please confirm that the rules haven't changed and that the 2nd round is still over 2 legs?
When the draw was being done all Richard Keys kept on saying was away, home e.t.c. When it came to Palace he said Burnley will be at home against Crystal Palace.
Then when the draw finished there were no dates for any of the ties.
Does anyone no?

****e draw as usual. Hopefully we'll turn them over and then get Charlton in the next round.

Third round onwards is indeed one leg only, but like last year the draw will be "fixed" from then on (like tennis for instance) so that we can see our path to the final (ha,ha!). Incidentally, can someone check my maths - 25 matches in second round with five teams having byes. That gives only 30 teams in third round instead of 32. Does this mean more byes to come or have I just had too much to drink?

The 7 were :
Arsenal
Chelsea
Leeds
Man U
Newcastle
Spurs
West Ham
